6th Grade Pre-Confirmation

This class is a five week class taught during Lent. Entitled “Decision Making for Life” the course is centered on issues students face, and will be facing, as they approach adolescence and how to make proper decisions based on our Christian teachings.

7th & 8th Grade Confirmation

7th & 8thgrade meet together with mentors and Pastor Carrie every Wednesday night during the school year. Each year’s curriculum alternates between the Bible and Luther’s Small Catechism (which includes such things as the 10 commandments, Lord’s Prayer, Apostles’ Creed and the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion). Using a curriculum called “Colaborate”, the youth use real life questions to engage the Bible, Small Catechism, and Lutheran doctrine and seek meaningful answers to their questions.

Once a month the youth participate in a fellowship and/or stewardship activity to help them build their faith and community.
