Trips
Each year we encourage adults and youth to participate in at least one mission trip opportunity.
Youth Mission Trip
Our congregation sponsors interested youth (8-12 grade) on summertime mission trips to experience God’s love in new ways. This year, our youth made a service learning trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2024 they will travel to New Orleans for the national ELCA Youth Convention.
Adult Mission Trip
For the last several years, adults from the congregation have spent a week at Lutheran Lakeside Bible Camp near Spirit Lake, Iowa, helping with various projects around the camp. One year in July, they painted ‘camp themed’ murals on outdoor propane tanks around the camp.
