Children
Imagine a tree growing into maturity. The first 5 years of its life will help determine if it will survive the storms that happen during its lifetime. The same can be said for your child! This is why Faith Lutheran Church is a family friendly community where families are encouraged to attend, even if it is more noisy from time to time during service! Here are a few ways that Faith Lutheran can help teach the scripture to your children.
Sunday School
We provide a full range of classes for children, toddlers through high-school age during Sunday School starting at 10:15 a.m. with classes dismissing at 11:15 a.m. from September through May. Parents/Guardians are invited and encouraged to attend Sunday School with their children through 6th grade in order to encourage continuation of faith conversations at home.

Milestone Ministry
Once each program year, students in each grade level and their parents will be invited to attend a class with one of the Pastors to focus on a faith milestone. These students will then be recognized during worship on that Sunday morning at the 9:00 am service.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School— Each summer, a week-long Vacation Bible School experience is held for the children of the congregation and community. Bible School often follows a rotation model format that is geared for children age three through grade five.

Bibles
Bibles are given to our 3rd graders at the beginning of the Sunday School year.
Children’s Library
There is a special spot in the church library for books for the children. Be sure to sign out all books and videos when you take them home!
Junior Camp
Each summer children who have completed grades 3 through 5 have the opportunity to attend a week long camp at Lutheran Lakeside Bible Camp near Spirit Lake, Iowa.
