All ministries and activities of Faith Lutheran are accounted for in one of the following groups:

Christian Education – Val Zelinko, Chair

The Christian Education Committee oversees the conduct and promotion of all areas of education within the congregation providing lay support and material aids for all child, youth and adult classes.

Faith Connections – Open Position

The Faith Connections team facilitates sharing the good news of Jesus Christ inside and outside our congregation. Examples include scheduling worship greeters, sending new resident post cards, and communications on outside signs, banners, and the church website.

Fellowship – Sherri Brundies, Chair

The Fellowship Committee plans family activities, hosts social gatherings and encourages fellowship within our congregation. Some of the activities include Sunday morning Coffee Hour between the two services, a Cheeseburger In Paradise Party, Parking Lot Picnic, and an Anniversary Dinner for couples that have been married 50+ years.

Finance – Myron Scheibe, Treasurer

The Finance Committee develops the annual budget, arranges for funding and keeps records of all offerings and memorials.

Property – Dan O’Flahrity, Chair

The Property Team oversees the maintenance of the church and parsonage. Team members use their talents, and enjoy fellowship, while completing projects large and small; examples include snow removal, plant pruning and weed removal, and fall and spring clean up.

Service in the World – John Hintze, Chair

The Service in the World committee helps provide members with opportunities to serve those in need through organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Churches Unites and many others.

Stewardship – Kim Wilkins, Chair

The mission of the Stewardship Committee is to tell the many stories of how we serve Christ’s gospel locally and globally. By hearing how lives are affected through our various ministries people are called upon to respond by giving generously of their time, talents and resources.

The Worship and Music Committee plans and makes arrangements for all the major aspects of each worship service.

Women of Faith – Linda Szemkus, President

The Women of Faith provide fellowship and Bible study for all women of the congregation, conducts special service projects and organizes reception service during funerals, weddings and luncheons.
