About Us
Our Mission & Values
In grateful response to Christ’s love,
we, as a congregation and as individuals, are:
Called to SHARE Christ’s love and our faith by our words
and actions with all those whom we encounter.
Called to SEEK God in the world,
inspired by worship, guided by scripture, engaged by prayer,
and cleansed by forgiveness.
Called to SERVE all of God’s
creation as we give of our time, talents and resources.
Our Beliefs
What Lutherans Believe
Lutherans hold to the following basic principles of theology and practice written by Martin Luther:
- We are saved by the grace of God alone – not by anything we do.
- Through faith alone, we receive this salvation by believing in Christ and that our sins are forgiven for Christ’s sake who died to redeem us.
- The Bible is the only norm of doctrine and life – the only true standard by which teachings and doctrines are to be judged.
