2021-12-02 Worship Invitation

So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith. Galatians 6:9-10

Dear Friends in Christ,

Worship is central to who we are as followers of Christ. From the beginning, Christians have gathered for worship, prayer, instruction and breaking of the bread to center our lives in Jesus, the one who gathers us as the body of Christ. Our relationships with one another help us to feel the presence of God in our midst. This ability to gather has been challenged during the pandemic. Yet, we continue to seek a variety of ways to worship as God’s people in this place, responding to the different needs that people have in our ever changing world.

• Our at home worship is a way that you can worship using a paper bulletin that includes a meditation of the sermon. Bulletins can be mailed to your home or you may pick them up at the church.
• Our online worship is live-streamed on our website and Facebook page every Saturday at 5 p.m. You may watch it live or by video afterwards.
• Our at church worship is on Saturdays at 5 p.m. and on Sundays at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and includes special music by our People of Praise Choir, our Resounding Joy! Chime Choir, and our Jubilation Band on a rotating basis. Please note: Face coverings are required at our Sunday worship services. Beginning December 11, we are lifting the face covering requirement for Saturday worship, but recommend that you responsibly follow the current CDC guidelines.

Out of Christ’s love for us, we continue to work together to show care-filled attention to the wellbeing of all. Worship with us in this Advent and Christmas season as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ who is God’s ultimate sign of this love for us and all creation.
