Dear Friends in Christ,

We are very excited to tell you that we will begin indoor gatherings starting with worship on Saturday, October 10 at 5 p.m. and Sunday October 11 at 9 a.m.! We invite you to join us in person, as you are able, for worship, confirmation, high school youth and other ministries!

We do continue to live with the risk of COVID-19 in our community. Therefore, indoor gatherings are being made possible by our consistent use of precautions, as recommended by the CDC: We will maintain a physical distance of 6 feet or more, wear face coverings, keep our hands clean, use sign-ups for contact tracing, and be vigilant in our church cleaning.

We will use these precautions to care for one another and to protect us from liability risk. We will continue to monitor the community risk. At some point, we may find the need to pause indoor gatherings to respond to higher community risk. We pray this won’t be necessary.

What will indoor worship be like? At this time, indoor worship will be on Saturdays at 5pm and on Sundays at 9am. If possible, sign up online or by calling the church office. When you arrive, the east door will be open for you. You will check in with ushers, one household at a time. There will be hand sanitizer, bulletins, the offering box, face coverings, and individual sealed communion packets for you. Ushers will help seat you at least 6 feet from others. After worship, ushers help you to leave, one household at a time. You will leave using the south door where you may dispose of bulletins and empty communion packets. For handicap accessible exit, ushers will help you to use the east door.

What if you aren’t able to join indoor worship? If you are high risk, have COVID-19 symptoms, are feeling ill, or just don’t feel comfortable joining in person, then please stay home and join us online or with at home materials. Don’t worry, we will save a seat for you when the time is right for you to return in person!

While our building has remained closed to in-person gatherings, Faith was never closed. We brought the gospel of Jesus to about 200 online viewers each week. We’ve had neighbors drop in to join our outdoor worship. We have provided other online and at home ministries. Now, we can look forward to being together in person again as we do the work of Jesus!
